Our Mission:​

White Rabbit Gallery is dedicated to supporting life and biodiversity. That’s why we proudly partner with the Dutch Bee Foundation in their mission to create a more bee-friendly planet. For every bee pendant sold, we donate 1m² of bee oasis to the foundation, helping to create vital habitats for our buzzing friends.

​Additionally, each jewelry piece comes with a complimentary selection of organically produced wildflower seeds, specially curated by renowned Dutch seed producer Cruydt Hoeck. These seeds empower you to create your own personal bee oasis, supporting biodiversity and allowing you to enjoy the beauty of nature together with the bees🐝

 

Ethically sourced​

All honeybees used in our jewelry lived happy, healthy lives, pollinating thousands of flowers before passing from natural causes. A summer honeybee lives just 4 to 6 weeks, and a single hive contains between 30,000 and 50,000 bees. The bee keepers we work with donate a small portion of the deceased bee's to us for our work.

Handmade with Magic​

Each bee is sealed fresh by hand in specialised epoxy to make it fully water- and airtight, no drying, casting or replication. A stainless steel loop is then glued on by hand, a meticulous process with something so small and delicate.

 

Next, the little bees ae submerged in a copper bath, forming a fine 0.2 micron foundation. After drying, it’s plated in a final layer of 24K gold or .999 fine silver, then hand-polished to finish.

The entire process takes about a week, involving delicate steps, and deep care, all to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece.​
