Ethisch verzameld nadat ze een blij en voltooid leven heeft geleid bij professionele bijenhouders in het betoverende Ashdown forest (UK). Een symbolische eerbetoon aan een van de belangrijkste bestuivers van onze planeet, magische vereeuwigd in 24 karaat goud of fijnzilver door meester alchemist John King.

🐝ETICALLY SOURCED; All bee's used in the creation of our jewellery lived happy lives with professional beekeepers in the beautiful UK Ashdown forest area and died of natural causes. A summer honeybee lives just 4 to 6 weeks, and a single hive contains between 30,000 and 50,000 bees. After their passing a small number of them are donated to us by the bee keepers for our work.
🐝MADE WITH MAGIC...All our jewelry comes from the hand of master alchemist John King, who transforms real natural objects into lasting talismans using the ancient magic of electroplating.
Each bee is sealed fresh by hand in specialised epoxy to make it fully water- and airtight, no drying, casting or replication. A stainless steel loop is then glued on by hand, a meticulous process with something so small and delicate. Next, the little bees are submerged in a copper bath, forming a fine 0.2 micron foundation. After drying, it’s plated in a final layer of 24K gold or .999 fine silver, then hand-polished to finish.The entire process takes about a week, involving delicate steps, quiet attention, and deep care, all to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece that holds both story and soul.
