🔨 How It’s Made
All our jewelry comes from the hand of master alchemist John King, who transforms real natural objects into lasting talismans using the ancient magic of electroplating. Each daisy used in our pendants is handpicked from our own garden or from wild patches in the nearby parks of Ashdown Forest. This is a particular joy for John’s two young sons, Kasper and Bodi, who have made daisy-spotting their seasonal tradition, one flower at a time.
 
Because daisies are sensitive to the seasons, we only pick them at their peak, just before they begin to fade. They’re sealed fresh in epoxy within hours, to preserve their softness, colour, and shape so they can bloom long beyond their short window in the wild.
Once sealed, a stainless steel loop is glued on by hand, a meticulous process with such fragile materials. The piece is then submerged in a copper bath, forming a fine 0.2 micron foundation. After drying, it’s plated in a final layer of 24K gold and hand-polished to finish.
 
The entire process takes about a week, involving delicate steps, quiet attention, and deep care, all to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece that holds both story and soul.
 
Plated jewelry may gently fade or tarnish over time depending on wear and care. But rest assured: all our jewelry comes with a lifetime replating service at shipping cost only. Because true magic deserves to last. And your satisfaction is our top priority.
