Every honeybee in our pendants lived a full and happy life with Park Farm Cottage Bee's in the beautiful Ashdown Forest (Sussex, UK). After their fulfilled life of approximately 4 to 6 weeks and natural passing, the beekeepers donate a small number of the little bees to us. Forever preserved in pure gold, these tiny bees become not only truly unique pieces of jewellery but also conversation-starting ambassadors for biodiversity.

🔨 How it's made
 
Made with magic. All our jewelry comes from the hand of master alchemist John King. Each honeybee is ethically sourced from professional beekeepers at Park Farm Cottage Bee's in Ashdown Forest, who share a small number of naturally deceased bees with us each season.
 
All honeybees lived happy, healthy lives, pollinating thousands of flowers before their natural end. A summer honeybee lives just 4 to 6 weeks, and a single hive contains between 30,000 and 50,000 bees. The beekeepers we work with care for an average of 10 hives — a continuous, humbling cycle of life, loss, and pollination.
 
Each bee is hand-sealed fresh in specialised epoxy, making it fully water- and airtight. A stainless steel eyelet is glued on with precision. Submerged in a copper bath for a sturdy metal base layer, plated with .999 fine silver, and hand-polished.
 
The entire process takes about a week. The result is a truly unique piece with both a story and a soul.
