🔨 How it is made: All our jewelry is crafted by master alchemist John King, who transforms real natural objects into lasting talismans using the age-old magic of electroplating. Every daisy used in our pendants is hand-picked from our own garden or from the wild fields in the nearby parks of Ashdown Forest. This is a special pleasure for John's two young sons, Kasper and Bodi, who have made gathering daisies their seasonal tradition, flower by flower.

Because daisies are sensitive to the seasons, we pick them only at the peak of their bloom, just before they begin to wilt. Within a few hours, they are freshly encapsulated in epoxy so that their softness, color, and shape are preserved, allowing them to continue blooming in the wild long after their short flowering period.

Once sealed, a stainless steel eyelet is glued on by hand—an extremely precise process given the fragility of the materials. The piece of jewelry is then immersed in a copper bath, creating a thin layer of 0.2 microns. After drying, it is coated with a final layer of 24-karat gold and polished by hand to complete the finish.

The entire process takes about a week and requires careful handling, unwavering attention, and great dedication, all to create a truly unique piece that carries both a story and a soul.

Gold-plated jewelry may tarnish slightly or become dull over time, depending on how often you wear it and how you care for it.
