🔨 How it's made

Made with magic. All our jewelry comes from the hand of master alchemist John King, who transforms real natural objects into lasting talismans through the ancient art of electroplating.

The Ginkgo biloba is one of the oldest tree species on earth — a living fossil that has existed for more than 200 million years. Our ginkgo leaves are carefully hand-picked from the ginkgo tree in our own garden, at the moment they are at their most beautiful. The fan-shaped leaf with its unique vein pattern makes each piece a small botanical wonder.

The leaves are hand-sealed fresh in specialised epoxy, making them fully water- and airtight, so their beautiful shape and texture are preserved forever. A stainless steel eyelet is glued on with precision. The piece is then submerged in a copper bath for a base layer of metal and strength, then plated with pure 24-karat gold, and finally hand-polished.

The entire process takes about a week and requires delicate steps. The result is a truly unique piece with both a story and a soul.
